There's a right way and a wrong way
How I intended to make sandwiches this morning:
Butter bottom layer of bread
Place tuna on bread
Wash lettuce and leave to drain
Chop tomato, place tomato slices on tuna
Chop cucumber, place cucumber slices on top of tomato
Place lettuce on top of previous layers
Butter top layer of bread, place on top
Cut each sandwich in half
Wrap sandwiches in plastic, ready to go
How I actually made sandwiches this morning:
Butter bottom layer of bread
Place tuna on bread
Wash lettuce and leave to drain
Chop tomato, place tomato slices on tuna
Chop cucumber, place cucumber slices on top of tomato
Butter top layer of bread, place on top
Cut each sandwich in half
Wrap sandwiches in plastic, ready to go
Notice lettuce still sitting in colander
Unwrap plastic
Lift off top layer of bread from each half-sandwich
Add lettuce on top of whichever bits didn't stick to the top layer of bread
Replace top layer of bread
Re-wrap sandwiches, now looking considerably messier than before

What, are the Sandwich Police coming to your office today to check out your skills?! ;)
As my grandma used to say, it's all the same when it hits your tummy!
My father is the only person I know who butters bread when making a sandwich. We all (us kids) think he's crazy. I'm not sure why. It's just that butter seems like it only belongs on toast, although I understand the soggy-proofing abilities of the butter. Me, I just use really dense bread and smash it all together. But then I have the luxury of eating it right after I make it, too.
Random note: Even though I'm a vegetarian I estimate that I've eaten more tuna than ANY other kind of food in my life so far. It will take at least another 5-6 years of eating non-tuna foods to surpass the can-a-day habit I had all through jr high, high school, and college. And yes, I know that's a lot of tuna and I'm sure I'll die from some kind of tuna-related issue. Mercury or tuna cancer or something. LOL
... and this concludes Mary's evening ramble. Thank you and goodnight.
Use your napkin, you have something on your chin. ;)
Not by the way...
Are you ever going to put up links?
How will you arrange them?
Will I be Mary or Elsewhere?
(Does it matter?, lol)
Remember when (almost)nobody knew about your blog?
Should I not eat any more chocolate tonight?
You focus on the butter (which, come to think of it, was really margarine), you focus on the tuna, but nary a word about the lettuce!
As for your other post:
Yes, eventually.
The order will be aesthetically pleasing, but otherwise it is not decided.
Elsewhere, probably.
You tell me.
Yes.
Probably not.
